About the Author
Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan has done his schooling in CMS Tyndale Biscoe School, Srinagar, where he picked his interest in trekking and mountaineering. He was born and brought up in Srinagar and lived his entire life there except for brief stints in Delhi and Bangalore. He works in the banking sector and trekking is his passion. He loves to travel, explore new places and roam in the wilderness whenever he gets the time. He is also fond of photography, reading and collecting books. This is his maiden venture in writing a book.
On the occasion of World Mountain Day, Jammu and Kashmir Mountaineering & Hiking Club released a book ‘The Man & The Mountain’, authored by Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan. Mr. Khan is a banker by profession and mountaineering enthusiast and a member of the Club.
