BPCL becomes the highest Market Cap Oil Marketing PSU, overtaking Indian Oil, who has been the leader, among the three Oil PSUs - Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum.

Indian Oil’s Market Cap at the close of yesterday was Rs. 107980.40 Crore, while that of Bharat Petroleum’s reached 108820.56 Crore.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) was India's sixth-largest company by turnover in FY19. It is also the second-largest oil marketing company (OMC) and commanded a domestic market share of 23.83% during FY19 among public-sector oil-marketing companies.
