Over this past weekend, the Chetu Foundation, the non-profit entity of Chetu India Pvt. Ltd. – a leading, global provider of world-class software development services – once again hosted a winter blanket drive to collect and distribute much-needed blankets to the needy. The blankets, which were secured and donated by team members at Chetu, were distributed to underprivileged and homeless individuals in the areas surrounding the team’s Noida-based software development campuses at H-6 and A-186 in Sector 63.

For the second consecutive year, the Chetu Foundation has donated blankets and other items to Noida’s underprivileged communities to help during the winter season. Last year, the organization hosted its Warming Hearts Clothing and Blanket Drive which also supported the less-fortunate in the Bambawar, Dadri, Gautam Buddha Nagar, areas. This year, the Foundation was able to donate over 75 kilograms of blankets to those in need.

“The Chetu Foundation was created to help our employees give back to the local communities, and with the colder weather approaching, we wanted to ensure that those in our local Noida community were taken care of,” said Manish Tyagi, Human Resources and Chetu Foundation Administrator at Chetu India Pvt. Ltd. “Chetu has been a part of the Noida community for the past 16 years, and as our company continues to grow on a global scale, we want to make sure that we are giving back to the communities that have helped us become what we are today.”

Created with the aim to help empower Chetu employees to support the initiatives they care about most – particularly aiding underprivileged children – the Chetu Foundation has been incredibly active in recent years and has provided aid to numerous organizations in the region. From donating over 8,375 Kg of food and school supplies to a local village in the Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh to presenting a check of over Rs. 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund of Uttar Pradesh for COVID relief, the Foundation remains an active philanthropic entity in the region.

As Chetu continues to grow globally – vastly exceeding its growth and revenue metrics from the previous years – the Chetu Foundation is looking forward to growing as well, and continuing to help those in need around the world.
