Allcargo’s Transindia Logistics to Commence Operations at Central Warehousing Corporation’s CFS in Mundra, Gujarat

Transindia Logistics, part of Allcargo Logistics Ltd., one of India’s largest integrated logistics players in the private sector, listed on BSE & NSE, has bagged the contract to manage & operate Central Warehousing Corporation’s (CWC) Container Freight Station (CFS) in Mundra, Gujarat. The CFS facility is located in close proximity to an existing CFS operated by Allcargo.

With 40 acres of sprawling space, Transindia is poised to transform the way operations are conducted in Mundra. With the expertise of Transindia the operations at Mundra CFS will bring in new level of supply chain capabilities and will serve as a benchmark in the realm of CFS.

With unique features like the presence of cutting edge technology and processes, highest safety, security standards, expertise in handling over dimensional cargo (ODC) and hazardous (HAZ) cargo, Transindia will create a new standard in CFS operations at Mundra. A trained staff of professionals will handle the freights with well equipped facility to provide best services to its customers.

The pioneers in CFS operations in India, Allcargo already has its presence in Nhava Sheva, Chennai, Mundra, Indore and Dadri (NCR) via Inland Container Depots (ICD) and CFS facilities. The company has also invested in a fourth CFS facility at Kolkata and a logistics park in Jhajjar (Haryana) which is expected to begin soon.
