AMD Appoints Swetang Vin as Corporate Vice President and Regional CFO

• Vin to consolidate AMD’s financial operations across important geographies

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announced that Swetang Vin has been promoted to the newly-created position of Corporate Vice President and Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for India, Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), and Greater China.

In his new role, Swetang will be responsible for leading all financial aspects of AMD’s R&D, Sales and Marketing Finance activities as well as entity accounting, taxation, financial controls, and compliance for the aforementioned regions. Based out of India, Swetang joined AMD in 2010 and previously held the office of Finance Director for India, APJ, and EMEA.

Swetang has more than 27 years of experience with leading technology companies such as Dell, Tata Teleservices and Xerox Corp with vast industry knowledge and domain experience in handling finance activities across regions. He has a keen interest in music and enjoys travelling.
