Bird Group Bags Two Honours at Second Edition of Travel & Hospitality Awards 2014

Bird Group, India’s largest diversified group in the aviation, travel, Hospitality and information technology arena bagged two prestigious awards at the just concluded second edition of Travel & Hospitality (TnH) awards 2014. Leading luxury lifestyle resort Dusit Devarana New Delhi, located between the historical attractions of New Delhi and corporate hub of Gurgaon, was voted as the ‘Most Outstanding Luxury Resort’ and Amadeus India, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry was awarded the ‘Most Outstanding Global Distribution System’ in India.

The awards were conferred at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi and attended by high profile dignitaries like Shri LK Advani, Dr. Mahesh Sharma (Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation) , Sri. Kirti Azad (former Cricketer and Member of Parliment), Sri. Mukul Rahatgi (Attorney General of India), Dr. Lalit K Panwar (Union Tourism Secretary) among others. The travel trade association officials, office bearers, association members and travel trade professionals were also present for the ceremony.
