Commemorative Postage Stamp Released to Mark 50 Years of UTI

To mark UTI’s Golden Jubilee Year, the Hon’ble Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad released a Commemorative Postage Stamp, in Delhi on November 12, 2014.  Ms Anjali Devasher, Member PLI, Postal Services Board, Department of Posts and Mr Leo Puri, Managing Director, UTI AMC were present on the occasion.

 

Mr Leo Puri said, “We are honoured that a postal stamp commemorating 50 years of UTI has been released today. Since 1964, UTI has played a pivotal role in the development and growth of Indian financial market. UTI has pioneered wealth creation by paving a path towards financial empowerment for millions of Indians.

 

On February 1, 2014, UTI completed 50 years of its glorious journey in pioneering wealth creation. 50 years marks a major milestone in the history of UTI and its eventful journey over the past 5 decades has been chronicled in UTI’s Coffee Table Book which was unveiled on February 2, 2014.
