Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Nautica signals the arrival of it Fall 2014 collection. Inspired by the spirit of military tradition and the utilitarian nature of maritime design, the season’s key pieces reflect a nautical and uniform sensibility. The “Into the Navy” look is grounded with bold, pops of colors throughout and a stylish combination of function and performance.

As the uniform you wear defines your role in service, our finest pieces and styles reflect a sensibility of color and character,” said Creative Director, Chris Cox. “This Fall is about bringing the spirit of tradition, utility, and camaraderie into a collection that one can wear proudly.”

Men’s collection highlights:

Outerwear makes the strongest statement this season, with classic peacoats updated with removable lined collars; multi-pocket parkas in white, navy, and orange hues; a traditional flight bomber jacket; and a black box quilted blazer. Neon quilted vests are great layering pieces over cozy textured sweaters or exploded plaid wovens. Shawl collars appear on pullover knits, collegiate style cardigans, and twisted zip sweaters.

The slim leg knit pant is a new silhouette and pairs nicely with mini checked shirts and toggle cardigans. Stripes are seen in new ways – marked across hoodies and vertically printed on tees, and denim comes in a variety of pigment dyed colors – green, red, and cobalt blue. Modern and clean – this season’s styles will get you marching to a new nautical beat and ready for the colder months ahead.

Women’s collection highlights:

The first delivery of the Nautica Fall 2014 collection features a clean and crisp color palette of navy, fresh green and sail white paired with signature nautical stripes and window pane prints. With rich hues that celebrate the Nautica brand’s heritage, Absolute Bearing features statement pieces like the square link printed dress, navy bound edge trench coat, and bold ocean pane print dress. The pant silhouettes are relaxed yet sophisticated and play well with the sleeveless pleated top and raglan shoulder zip pullover.

Know the Ropes, the second fall delivery, contains chic, tailored pieces in shades of white cap, ginger and bold pops of mandarin orange with gold hardware details. Made for the girl on-the-go who is returning from her recent summer getaway to the hustle and bustle of city life, this delivery offers a variety of versatile, classic pieces that will quickly become closet staples. The navy ponte dress, navy ponte skirt with grommet detail, and metallic knit tank are some highlights from this delivery that can easily take you from the office to dinner with friends.

Long Stay Lady, the final delivery of the season, embraces fall with its rich textures, fabrics and color palette of beaming blue, iron heather and true black. Colorblocking is still on trend and can be seen throughout this delivery in the wool funnel peacoat, ponte blazer, true black ponte dress and skirt. The pant silhouettes become more tailored and pair perfectly with the bold solid and printed crepe blouses and cozy cable knit sweaters.
