Fujitsu is opening its doors at the Fujitsu Forum Munich 2014 – Europe’s biggest IT-vendor event – on November 19 and 20 at the International Congress Center Munich (ICM). Under the theme ‘Human Centric Innovation’, Fujitsu will demonstrate how the optimum combination of information, infrastructure and people is helping organizations around the globe to achieve their goals, and transform their businesses for sustainable success.

The new reality features constant change in global markets; informed, demanding and selective customers and citizens; as well as a pressure on natural resources. Information and communication technology (ICT) has the power to connect not only humans but all kinds of objects via the Internet. It enables people to make sound decisions based on the instant analysis of the massive amounts of data generated by this communication. The power of ICT fosters innovation that will considerably improve people’s lives, businesses, and societies.

Fujitsu is committed to accelerating Human Centric Innovation by supporting enterprises and societies with the growing capabilities of ICT, and by contributing solutions to address its customers’ business and societal challenges.

The two-day event – expected to attract over 10,000 ICT experts and opinion-leaders from more than 80 countries – will include six keynotes, a 3,500 square meter exhibition hall with more than 250 highlights presented by Fujitsu and its partners, 100 formal expert talks and 52 breakout sessions.

On day one, Fujitsu’s Tango Matsumoto, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Marketing, will deliver the opening keynote and explore Human Centric Innovation in the era of hyper-connectivity. Brian David Johnson, Futurist and Principal Engineer at Intel will ask: “How can we design for the future?” Fujitsu’s Jürgen Walter, Head of Central Europe, will share insights on how Fujitsu innovates and co-creates with its customers, while NetApp’s Chief Technology Officer Jay Kidd will discuss the challenges of innovation when it comes to data management. Then on day two, Dr. Joseph Reger, Chief Technology Officer EMEIA at Fujitsu, will take the argument forward into the realm of digital transformation, while Duncan Tait, Head of EMEIA at Fujitsu, will look at the proactive role Fujitsu is taking in society.
