GBS, India and MUST, Malaysia jointly introduce an International MBA Program

Globsyn Business School (GBS), uniquely positioned as India's only ‘Corporate B-School’ and ranked among the Top 5 B-Schools in Eastern India, has tied up with the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST), which was set up by the Malaysian government in 1997 in collaboration with MIT and rated 5 Star for Teaching and Employability by the prestigious QS University World Rating, to launch for the first time in India, a full-time post graduate degree program to be executed and delivered entirely in Kolkata – MBA in International Business. This is the first of the many post graduate programs that GBS and MUST plan to jointly introduce for the students of the country, to allow them access to higher education of global standards.

This collaboration between GBS and MUST, was marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between Mr. Bikram Dasgupta (Founder and Executive Chairman, Globsyn Group) and Prof. (Dr.) Premkumar Rajagopal (President, MUST), in the company of Mr. Rahul Dasgupta (Director, GBS) and Mr. Thanga Thurai Vengadasalam (Director, Centre for Professional Development and International Affiliations, MUST) on March 12, 2019. Several revered faculty members, scholars and esteemed senior personnel representing a cross-section of backgrounds and disciplines, from across both the academic institutions, came together to grace this occasion.

 

On this occasion, Mr. Bikram Dasgupta said, “In its quest for continuous innovation in management education, Globsyn Business School has always exposed the students to the most innovative learning pedagogy, provided the best-in-class infrastructure, allowed them learning opportunities beyond education and groomed them to be industry-relevant managers ready to take on the challenges of the corporate world. A special feature of the program is that it is fully accredited by the Malaysian government and it has been evaluated by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK as meeting its rigorous standards. This will allow candidates to achieve dual degree award with greater global impact. All programs are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Malaysia and we also have the approval of the Association of Indian Universities.
