Hero Motocorp Launches New Xtreme Sports & Passion Pro Bikes in Hyderabad

In keeping with its commitment to offer technologically superior and youthful products to customers, Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, today launched two new motorcycles – the new ‘Hero Xtreme Sports’ and new ‘Hero Passion PRO’ for customers here today.

Unveiling the two bikes at a glittering function here today, southern superstar and Hero MotoCorp brand ambassador Allu Arjun said “Hero has been an iconic brand for years and has always connected with the youth through its range of stylish, technologically superior products. I am absolutely excited to be launching the new Xtreme Sports and Passion PRO bikes today. I myself recently went biking on these motorcycles and it was a thoroughly enjoyable ride. The ‘Xtreme Sports’ is priced at Rs. 71,729/- (Ex-showroom Hyderabad) and the ‘Passion PRO’ is priced at Rs. 49,450/- (Ex-showroom Hyderabad).This is a key region for Hero MotoCorp. The NewHero Xtreme Sports

The ‘Faster than Ever’ new Xtreme Sports offers not only a sporty ride quality but also one of the best power outputs in its class. The powerful engine paired with aggressive street fighter styling is set to appeal to the biking enthusiasts of today, while its abundant aesthetic enhancements give it a distinct look on the road.

The ‘Xtreme Sports’ is powered by a 149.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine, producinga maximum power output of 15.6 BHP @8500 rpm and maximum torque of 13.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm.

Increasing the style quotient of the sporty ‘Xtreme Sports’ are a host of new external features, such as the front cowl with aerodynamic visor, new wolf-eye headlamp with aggressive eyebrow lights and winkers. The split step-up seat enhances both looks and riding comfort while the stylish exhaust with the trendy muffler cover adds to the sportiness and enhances heat shielding. The unique LED tail lamp in tandem with a trendy split grab rail makes the bike even more attractive from the rear.

The Xtreme Sports also comes with adequate safety and convenience elements. While Tubeless Tires enhance safety of the rider and pillion, the wider rear tyreimproves performance and provides better road grip. The new Digi-analog console with side stand indicator improves instrument cluster visibility. The 240 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes ensure there is enough stopping power for emergency braking.

The bike is available in five body colors – Panther Black, Fiery Red, Mercuric Silver and the new Black-Red and Pyro Orange colors.

The New Hero Passion PRO

One of the most popular motorcycle brands in the country with over a million units in annual sales, Passion has captured the imagination of customers for over a decade. A stylish bike from its inception, Passion has reinvented itself with changing times and now comes with more powerful engine, enhanced fuel efficiency and greater style quotient, to go with the legendary Hero reliability.

Powered by a 97.2 CC APDV engine, the new Passion Pro delivers an exciting power output of 6.15 kW @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.05 Nm @ 5000 rpm.

The new bike features a Flush Type fuel tank cap which adds to the convenience, provides greater safety and enhanced looks. The fuel tank has capacity of 13.5 liters. With the 240 mm front disc brakes, the bike is designed for plenty of brake power to make the ride even safer, while clear indicators and new tail light increases rider safety through enhanced visibility.

The new Passion Pro comes with power start, front side cowl and digital-analog combo meter, improving the visibility of the instrument cluster.

The bike is available in eight exciting body colors– Black Sports Red, Black Heavy Grey, Black Frost Blue, Sports Red, Force Silver, Bronze yellow and two completely new colors – Matte Brown and Majestic White.
