ICICI Lombard Launches India’s First Self-Service Kiosk for General Insurance Customers

The interactive kiosks introduce self-service capabilities at the branch for the benefit of customers.

 

ICICI Lombard customers can access policy details, claim processing status or renew policies without having to  wait at customer service desk.

 

Kiosks have been installed at 3 branches of ICICI Lombard i.e. Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru in the first phase.

 

 

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd., India’s largest private sector General Insurance Company, has launched ‘Self-service’ kiosks at three of its key branches in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The Self-Service kiosks are designed to meet diverse customer requirements including query update, status on claim processing, policy endorsement, printing of policy certificates and claim forms etc.

 

The kiosks will also enable customers to renew their existing policies (motor, health). In addition, they would be able to extend their travel insurance policies at the click of a button. Customers can thus benefit from faster response time and convenience with regards to their ICICI Lombard General insurance policies.

 

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Girish Nayak, Chief - Service, Operations and Technology, ICICI Lombard said “At ICICI Lombard, we have been at the forefront in terms of adopting innovative technology solutions to ensure superior customer service. With the launch of Self-Service Kiosk, a first of its kind initiative in the General Insurance industry, our customers will be able to conveniently access their ICICI Lombard General insurance policies for information as well as to conduct purchase, renewal or claim related transactions at the click of a button”.

 

The company has installed the kiosks at three of its key offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. Going forward, it plans to install kiosks in other key branches across the country.
