In an always-on world defined by continuous digital activity and social media interaction, Motorola is increasingly looking to engage with their users in innovative ways. Motography is one such collaborative effort between Motorola India and its fans.

In the weeks leading up to the Indian Independence Day on August 15, Motorola India has launched #Motography – a four week long nationwide collaboration where users can share their love for India with the rest of the world clicking away with their Motorola handsets. Motography is an innovative photography contest that nurtures natural curiosity about India and challenges the Moto user to discover India on their own terms. The Motography @Motorolaindia exhibits emerging and amateur motographers, presenting their work based on meaningful photography on themes that are loved by Indians. The themes of Motography explore #FoodOfIndia #BeautyOfIndia #CultureOfIndia #IndianTricolor

Currently active on the Motorola’s Twitter handle, @motorolaindia, #Motography is not just a contest but a platform where Moto fans bring alive their passion for meaningful photography to showcase what it means to capture meaningful imagery captured through a Moto handset. In a world where high-definition and pixels scream out at consumers, Motography is a concept which instead propagates the meaning in photographs that we take. Taking on from the success of a week-long Motography campaign on the back of the Moto E launch, Motorola India launched an extended version of the idea in the run-up to August 15.

Kicking off last week with #foodofindia the current week’s theme is #BeautyOfIndia which will be followed by #CultureOfIndia and finally the #IndianTricolor. Contest rules are simple: 1) Users just need to follow the @MotorolaIndia handle on Twitter 2) Post a picture using @MotorolaIndia #Motography and the theme hashtag; 3) Each week, two winners will receive a Moto E handset and a mention on Motorola India’s official Twitter page. #foodofindia was won by Umang Oswal @umangoswal and Mahipal Solanki @Mahi_Crest in the round up of last week’s submissions.
