Mr. Avijit Mitra Appointed as CEO of Infiniti Retail Ltd, Croma

Infiniti Retail Ltd, the subsidiary of Tata Sons, which manages the consumer electronics retail business of the Tata group under the brand name “Croma”, has announced the appointment of Mr. Avijit Mitra as the Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Mitra was the Chief Financial Officer of the company. In the past, he also held several other responsibilities including Legal, IT, Procurement (Internal Consumption), Merchandising and Quality.

Mr. Mitra is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with Tata Global Beverages Ltd in 1990, where he worked in various roles in the finance function for a period of time. He then joined the Indian Hotels Company Limited in 1999, and moved to Infiniti Retail Ltd in 2006.
