Pitstop Hires Former Mericar.com CEO Rakesh Sidana as a General Manager

It also partners with fleets and leasing firms across, including top ride-sharing companies, where it uses its proprietary SaaS-based Fleet Information System that provides a one-stop real-time view of service repairs, thereby providing affordable, convenient, and transparent vehicle maintenance and fleet management services.

Rakesh Sidana's Profile

Mr. Sidana has Over 21 years Industry experience with 14 years executing disruptive and innovative “eary-market” businesses. His first company was IT Solution Outsourcing Consulting firm for International clients & second company was India’s First Digital Platform (Mericar.com) and a network of multi brand car garages in India, funded twice by prestigious investors including the one from Google.  Before starting own firm in 2004, he worked for IndiaMART in early days of starting up and web-development companies in early days of Internet and Dot-Com era in India. 

He has also worked closely with Roadside Assistance companies (AXA Assistance, Crossroads) as a part of Partnership and also worked with Car Wash Franchisee company (Speed Car Wash) to help them to establish their network across India. 

Mr. Sidana has also authored three books and has been a mentor to many entrepreneurs and moderator of social media communities. He has also been Awarded and as a Guest of Honor by top technology and management institutions and is also a part of Government Skill Development and Startup Initiatives.
