Premier Explore Partners with the Manchester United Soccer School to Develop Young Football Talent in India

Premier Explore – a five-star travel & lifestyle company based in the UK, announced the launch of ‘The Premier Explore Cup’ today in association with the Manchester United Soccer School. Providing an incredible footballing experience to India’s most talented football players, July 2016 will mark this highly-anticipated inaugural event. The premium lifestyle and travel company of UK has set up operations in India through an office in Kolkata. It has initiated inviting player nominations from the top 10 schools in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata, and will also commence regional trials in November 2015.

The eight day event will be held in the UK, bringing together representative teams from Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, to learn from exceptional coaches and have access to unrivalled training facilities.

Selected schools from each city will be invited to put forward 6 of their most talented footballers aged 16 or under to attend regional trials. During the trials, professional UEFA and FA qualified coaches from the UK will be assessing the players on their physical attributes, ball mastery and natural ability. From these trials, 16 players will be selected to represent their city at The Premier Explore Cup, and will depart for the UK to experience the opportunity of a lifetime.

For the first six days post arriving in the UK, each team will take part in a comprehensive Manchester United Soccer School residential coaching course, with its own personal coach, and have the opportunity to visit the Old Trafford Football Stadium – the renowned home of the Manchester United Football Cup. The trip will conclude with a two day tournament hosted at St George’s Park, the world-class training hub for the England national football team and regarded as Europe’s leading football venue.

With our launch in the country, we will soon be rolling out a series of initiatives to bring the Indian football lover closer to the game. Football as a sport is extremely popular in India and will only grow manifold in the years to come. We are thrilled about the tournament, and hope to develop some great footballing talent in the country.”

While the undefeated team will lift the ‘Premier Explore Cup’ trophy, the ‘Player of the tournament’ will win an all-expenses paid trip to the UK with Premier Explore to watch an English Premier League match of their choice.
