Salzer Electronics PAT Grows by 33% YoY in 9MFY15

Salzer Electronics Ltd., a leading manufacturer of rotary switches and wiring ducts in India, announced its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31^st, 2014.

Q3 FY15 Highlights:

• Net Sales grew by 14% to Rs. 67.43 cr in Q3FY15 compared to Rs. 58.96 cr in Q3FY14

• EBITDA came at Rs. 7.84 cr in Q3FY15 in comparison with Rs. 7.91 cr in the same quarter last year

• Registered PAT of Rs. 2.20 cr in the quarter as against Rs. 2.25 cr in Q3FY14

9MFY15 Highlights:

• Net Sales grew by 15% to Rs. 200.38 cr in 9MFY15 compared to Rs. 174.13 cr in 9MFY14

• EBITDA grew by 17% to Rs. 25.91 cr in 9MFY15 in comparison with Rs. 22.21 cr in the same period last year

• Net profit has grown by 33% to Rs. 8.62 cr in 9MFY15 as against Rs. 6.49 cr in 9MFY14

Management Comments:

Commenting on the results, Mr. D. Rajesh Kumar, Joint Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company said, “The Company has consistently been showing the steady performance in the last few quarters owing to robust market conditions, particularly, export market remains supportive and encouraging for maintaining 20% growth continuously in export market.”

He further added that “The bottom line has also improved significantly consequent to input cost stabilization and cost effective measures of the Company. Present macro economic recovery and Government’s growth oriented agenda would certainly be a boon for growth and bullish on strong prospectus.”
