SBI Bags Reserve Bank Shield for its In-House Hindi Magazine “Prayas”

State Bank of India bagged the second prize for its in-house quarterly Hindi magazine, “Prayas” for the year 2012-13 in the best in-house Hindi magazine competition among public sector banks conducted by the Reserve Bank of India.

Shri Ashwini Mehra, Deputy Managing Director & Corporate Development Officer, State Bank of India received the shield from the RBI Governor Shri Raghuram G. Rajan in a prize distribution ceremony held on this occasion. Shri S.S. Mundra, Deputy Governor, RBI is seen on the dais. General Manager (OL & CS) Shri A. V. Brahma Rao and AGM (OL) Shri Mohan Singh also accompanied the DMD & CDO. This was an illustrious occasion for SBI as this marks the eighth time that the bank has bagged this prestigious award from RBI.

The magazine is being published for the last 25 years by the Official Language Department of the Bank with a motive of providing up-to-date information on current topics related to banking, finance, marketing and IT in Hindi. Prayas has undoubtedly established itself as an exceptionally reputed magazine in the entire banking industry.
